‘Reapplication Pending’ R350 Grant Status
After submitting your Sassa R350 grant application, you might want to do a Sassa status check. But you might find that your Sassa SRD status is ‘reapplication pending’, here’s what you can do about that Sassa status.
The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has given its Special Relief of Distress (SRD) grant beneficiaries an answer to their many questions regarding the ‘Reapplication Pending’ Sassa grant status.
This simply means that there was no application or reapplication received by the agency.
What should you do when you have received the ‘Reapplication Pending‘ Sassa application status?
You will then need to submit your Sassa application for R350 using the SRD Sassa website.
Here’s how:
- Go to srd.sassa.gov.za to apply online
- Enter your mobile number
- Click “Send SMS”
- Then enter the one time pin (OTP) that Sassa has sent to the number
- Continue the application process by filling in the steps required
In order to access or to have your Sassa online application considered, an applicant must grant consent for Sassa to verify his or her identity, residency, income, or social security benefits.
Applicants are urged to accept the declaration and consent as well.
Sassa also advises people to only submit one application instead of multiple applications. Once your application has been successfully submitted, confirmation will be sent to you.
