GSMA INNOVATION FUND FOR ASSISTIVE TECH FOR AFRICANS & ASIANS:

Applicants are invited to apply for the GSMA INNOVATION FUND FOR ASSISTIVE TECH FOR AFRICANS & ASIANS. This funding opportunity is for start-ups, SMEs and social enterprises owned by female founders, local entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs with disabilities and people who can proactively demonstrate an idea that reaches women and people with disabilities. Africans and Asians who qualify are welcome to apply for this funding.

Benefits:

  • Selected projects will be awarded an equity-free grant of between £100,000 and £250,000 to grow their innovation within 15- to 18-month.

Eligibility Criteria:

The GSMA is searching for start-ups, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and social enterprises in Africa and Asia that are guiding the digital inclusion of people with disabilities based on the following:

  • Access. 
  • Affordability.
  • Relevance.
  • Knowledge and skills.
  • Safety and security.
