Belgium Government Scholarship 2021 For International Students:
Applications are invited for the Belgium Government Scholarship 2021 for international students from developing countries to study in Belgium. This fully-funded scholarship is open to international students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree or training courses at top universities in Belgium. International students from all over the world are eligible and welcome to apply.

Benefits:
Master’s program –
- International travel costs: Economy-class travel on an IATA-approved airline, with a maximum of one round-trip ticket per academic year. NB: Receipts must be provided.
- Living allowance: €1150 monthly for a duration of 12 months.
- Indirect mission fees: €150. This amount is given once per stay, upon arrival of the recipient.
- Arrival allowance and return fees: €700. This amount is given once per stay, upon arrival of the recipient.
- Insurance fees: Directly paid by ARES.
- Inter-university travel costs: Reimbursed based on real costs incurred, with receipts provided.
Training programs –
- International travel costs: Economy-class travel on an IATA-approved airline, with a maximum of one round-trip ticket per academic year. NB: Receipts must be provided.
- Living allowance:
- €83 daily for stays lasting 8 to 17 days
- €1400 monthly for stays lasting 18 days to 1 month (set amount)
- €1400 monthly for stays lasting 1 to 6 months, prorated to the number of days.
- Indirect mission fees: €150. This amount is given once per stay, upon arrival of the recipient.
- Insurance fees: Directly paid by ARES.
- Inter-university travel expenses: Reimbursed based on real costs incurred, with receipts provided.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Citizen of a Developing country. CLICK HERE to see country-eligibility.
- Must be under the age of 40 for Degree programs, and under 45 for Training Courses, at the scheduled academic date.
- Applicants should have a related academic background to apply for a relevant field.
- Applicants must possess relevant professional experience in a developing country of at least two years after graduate studies, or of three years after their studies if the applicant has earned a post-grad degree from a university in an industrialized country;
- Applicants must have a passive knowledge of English (reading).
- Applicants are only eligible to apply for only one training course.
- Women are encouraged to apply.
